Columbitech Wireless Suite offers a software-only solution for security-conscious enterprise with mobile staff, which requires reliability and security in their communications on wireless networks. Columbitech's technology is built from the ground up for the wireless world, providing the benefits of wired solutions such as end-to-end security, convenient always-on connectivity and optimized performance. Columbitech Wireless VPNT is totally network agnostic meaning it supports a wide range of network technologies, for example GPRS, CDPD, GSM and Wireless LAN. The Columbitech Management Extension Service, is a plug-in component that, integrated with the Check Point NG Management Server, enables a system administrator to transparently monitor the Columbitech Wireless VPNT using standard Check Point management tools.

• Session resume - "Always-on" connectivity that creates a robust and seamless end-user experience. The architecture will automatically reconnect and re-establish a secure session in case of network failure.
• Transaction recovery - If the VPN connection is interrupted when downloading data, Columbitech Wireless VPNT continues the download when the network becomes available again.
• Seamless roaming - Columbitech Wireless VPNT enables roaming between various network standards such as W-LAN, GPRS, GSM and CDPD without having to re-logon and without having to restart any applications.
• Single log-on - No need for repeated and exhaustive logon procedures. The Wireless VPN log-on is integrated with the standard Windows log-on mechanism.
• Network administration - Simple network administration based on the well-known Check Point NG management tools for administration and monitoring.

• Data compression - Session based compression increases bandwidth and reduces transmission cost.
• Transmission optimizations - Wireless optimized transmission protocols.
• Scalability - Capacity expandability is easily administrated without additional hardware.
• Application transparent - No adaptation necessary in existing network or applications.

• Authentication - Columbitech Wireless VPNT uses standard protocols and products, such as Wireless PKI, RADIUS, Windows AD and RSA SecurID, for authenticating and maintaining users accounts.
• Encryption - Strong end-to-end encryption using well-established algorithms DES and 3DES.
• Integrity - Columbitech Wireless VPNT uses hashing and signing algorithms to maintain data integrity.
